The Goliard is a student run literary magazine on the College of Wooster Campus. We receive all of our submissions from current students and these submissions are peer reviewed by members of our staff. At the end of each year, we publish a magazine and sell it to the student body. In the magazine we publish prose, poetry, prosetry, art, music, a one act play, and any other type of writing that you can think of. We are also trying to expand the types of literature and art that we put in the magazine, so if you’re not sure we accept what you want to submit, send it anyway! We would be happy to look at it.

The Goliard also now has a Soundcloud with music from our recent issue! We are really excited about that here at The Goliard and hope that you’ll give your fellow Wooster-ites a listen!

Our past co-Editors-in-Chief (yes Joshua Ware and Leah Brown, we’re talking about you) had this to say about The Goliard:

A publication of casual bits and scraps that shake down into the world. Like the claim of a 1905 Pittsburgh whiskey, the creativity “blends the mildness of milk with the vivacity of champagne, steals gently upon the soul, and animates the intellect without ever collapsing an idea.”

If you want to purchase and lend your support to Wooster’s only student run literary magazine, we will be selling copies of The Goliard  during the coming Fall Semester.

We will also have a stand at Scot Spirit Day for all incoming Freshman and returning students to peruse!
